Our Story
On a cold, damp day in April, while standing on the loading dock of the Co-op in Blue Hill Maine, we watched a young woman unload from a station wagon several crates filled with Eliot Coleman's miraculous fresh produce. Later that morning we headed down the road to Four Season Farm. There we met Barbara and Eliot and they graciously invited us to stay for lunch. On the drive home we realized that not only did we want to be growing our own produce year round, we felt we needed to be. Eliot said he would tell us what to grow and when to plant but first we would need a moveable greenhouse.
Now all of our herbs, flowers, and vegetables are grown in our handsome greenhouse. We marvel at the ease of the process, the generosity we experience by sharing a tender fresh salad with our family and friends, and joy we receive from gardening year round.
We hope you will take the opportunity to do the same.
