Planting
Growing on the Backside of the Calendar
The moveable greenhouse has the ability to extend the growing season in both directions. Crops that are normally done in New England by October are easily harvested in December and often into January and February. Those that are not started outdoors until Mother's Day may be started in the greenhouse in February and March and then continue on outside when the greenhouse moves in the beginning of June. Of course by then you will have been eating peas, carrots, beets and radishes for a month or more and your tomatoes are just about ripe!
